Five for Fall - Good Life of Design
Happy Friday! I am delighted that Kathysue from GOOD LIFE OF DESIGN is joining me today with her Five for Fall. Be sure to check out her blog and you will love her warmth and enthusiasm that come through in her blog. Kathysue is one of the nicest people in the blogosphere. Really. Truly.
1. The glow of unscented ivory CANDLES in all shapes and sizes
2. The subtle warm wonderful fragrance of COTE BASTIDE AMBER which will have your guests asking "What smells so good!?"
3. Williams Sonoma MULLING SPICES are the best you can find and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
4. CUTTING BOARDS are great for serving cheese and crackers or even small boards can be used to serve bowls of fall soup!
5. Living in California, Kathysue entertains outside during the fall months and has COZY THROWS on hand when the temperatures drop.
Thanks, Kathysue!

Martha's New Book!
Earlier this week Martha's newest book MARTHA'S ENTERTAINING A YEAR OF CELEBRATIONS debuted and I am eagerly awaiting my copy to arrive in the mail. Say what you will about MS, but she and her team are still the very best in the business. Here are a few photos from the book.

Five for Fall - The French Tangerine
The next guest blogger in the Five for Fall Series is Jan from THE FRENCH TANGERINE.
She is as nice as she is talented. Be sure to check out her blog!
1. The best part about fall cooking is comfort food! A CALPHALON POT is perfect for a delicious stew, soup or chili.
2. French Country MUGS for serving soup, stew, coffee or tea in style!
3. Pumpkins are perfect to use as vases or serving bowls this time of year.
4. Jan and her family like to spend fall evenings lingering outside before winter arrives. Have a great selection of QUILTS
Or cozy THROWS for your guests as the temperatures dip. Hang them over the back of each chair.
5. A set of great PLATES for fall
With her Five for Fall, Jan is all set for entertaining this fall. Thanks, Jan!

Make a Reservation - Boston's Best
Boston has a long list of excellent restaurants. At the tippy top of my list is UPSTAIRS ON THE SQUARE - no contest. The food is excellent, as is the service. As soon as you walk in the friendly staff make you feel right at home and you will want to return again and again.
