Party Details: Spring Dinner Party

Last weekend I hosted a spring dinner party in honor of St Patrick's Day. The menu was the traditional fare - corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. Paired with a baguette, an arugula salad and pinot noir.

The table is set with plates from Pottery Barn, a tablecloth I had made with fabric from Dwell and flowers I did myself with blooms from my local market.

The place cards are from Paper Source and taking a page from the fabulous EDDIE ROSS, I added green candies served in antique silver dishes.

Got the Blues

To Die For Dining Room

I would love to entertain in this stunning dining room. The floors, the lighting, the walls, the table....swoon. Perhaps Brooke (Shields) will invite me to her next fete?

Pear-fect Appetizer

At a recent dinner party with friends, I served this Pear and Camembert Appetizer. It was delicious, elegant and easy to prepare. Here is the RECIPE.

Black Tie Table

Black and white is classic for entertaining. CELERIE KEMBLE does it beautifully at the former home of the wonderful EDDIE ROSS

Palm Beach Chic

My great grandfather had a home in Palm Beach and I have been going since I was little. Shopping on Worth Avenue, lunch at Cafe Boulud or Ta-Boo, sipping cocktails at the Breakers, staying at the Four Seasons looking out over the Atlantic - the perfect winter escape!
