For over twenty years we have been hosting a fabulous Christmas Party in CT. It starts with cocktails in the house which is decorated to the nines and with the fires roaring - so festive. We then move to the barn for dinner with fifty of our favorite folks.

Then we head back in the house for more cocktails, dessert and lots of singing (often a bit rowdy) Christmas Carols with one of our favorites musicians, Paul Errico of PETER DUCHIN ORCHESTRAS.

ReplyDeleteOh, soooo gorgeous! It reminds me of Gibbett Hill in Groton. It was an old farm/barn on a big hill w/ beautiful views they renovated into a restaurant and function hall that they do a lot of weddings. I think I may have a photo of the function hall... I'll look to see if I do. Thanks for your sweet comment this morning... meant a lot to me. I have tried to meditate but think I am too ADD can't seem to concentrate! xo

ReplyDeleteFabulous! We have a barn too, a post and beam that we put up about five years ago...it's our favorite venue for parties. The best part is you just close the double doors when your guests leave and deal with the clean-up in the morning...as you go to bed in a nice clean house.
