On the Rocks

Any well stocked bar, or party, should have a beautiful ice bucket. I was given the ice bucket below from SIMON PEARCE as a birthday gift from friends and I love it!

Here are a few from PLANTATIONS

You can get one in IKAT

Or in BAMBOO

For your beach home, how about this OPTION?

Classic elegance from TIFFANY'S

Some stunning, and stunningly expensive, options from ARTE DONA

Or you can go OLD SCHOOL - I think my grandparents had this ice bucket!

And some more vintage options from EBAY

Cheers!

VT Country Wedding

If you are a regular reader, than you know I have a love affair with the mountains. I like the beach too, so I guess I have a love affair with the outdoors. While the Green Mountains of VT are not the Rockies, they are still stunning and provide a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor wedding. I love this wedding from STYLE ME PRETTY.

The bride and groom got married on the grounds of their 200-year-old farm.

The flowers are charming and look like they were plucked out of the garden.

Details I love

Dinner Across the Pond

Like many of us, I find myself drawn across the pond to all things British with only a few weeks until the Wedding of the Century. I have had the pleasure of living in London and it remains one of my favorite cities. I saw this table setting in HOMES AND GARDENS and love it!

I have a large collection of red ruby glass from my great grandparents and love the way it is incorporated in this table setting.

6 Party Items For Spring - Mariska Meijers

One of the best part about having a blog is getting to know people around the globe. Case in point, my next guest in the series is MARISKA MEIJERS from Amsterdam.

If you will be at HIGH POINT in April, be sure to look for Mariska.

1. Table Inspiration Interior Designer JAMES ANDREWS mixes classic and eclectic pieces and the results are fantastic. He often provides Mariska inspiration for her own entertaining.

2. KATE SPADE From her line of china, to perfect thank you notes, shoes and bags with classic style, Kate is a welcome guest at any gathering.

3. DONNA HAY All of us lead hectic lives, so simple recipes that taste delicious are ideal for entertaining. Donna Hay's recipes are deliciously easy.

4. Fresh Flowers Any arrangement by KELLIE COLLIS would upgrade your next fete. Check out her blog for creative centerpieces and table settings.

5. PAOLA NAVONE Italian designer Paola Navone likes clean lines and a modern aesthetic.  How about a set of her plates for your spring table?

And a sneak peak at Paola's home in Greece, which has nothing to do with spring entertaining, but is too beautiful not to share!

6. The Perfect Tray Warm weather means dining outside. Check out Mariska's COLLECTION of trays that are ideal for serving drinks and snacks outdoors.
