Blue Hill at Stone Barns

BLUE HILL at Stone Barns is on the top of my "must" list.

In 2004, Blue Hill at Stone Barns opened in Pocantico Hills, New York.

Chef Dan Barber helped create the philosophical and practical framework for Stone Barns Center, a working four-season farm just 30 miles north of New York City, and continues to create a consciousness about the effect of everyday food choices.

Sourcing from the surrounding fields, as well as other local farms, Blue Hill at Stone Barns highlights the resources of the Hudson Valley. There are no menus at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Instead, guests are presented with a list of over a hundred ingredients, updated daily, which contains the best offerings from the field and market.

  1. Blue Hill is quite an amazing and wonderful experience. We had a four hour outing...the food is superb, the service impeccable and the presentation was artisty. I go to Stone Barns all the time with my children and that too is a treat! Will you be in the Hamptons this summer?

  2. We were there twice and LOVED it. First it is so incredibly beautiful, its best to get there when its still light out and take a tour of the property/barns, you can arrange ahead of time. Loved the tasting menu, they customize it to your preferences and I tried things I have never had, and it was out of this world. We are going back for a friends birthday in Sept...cannot wait!! Highly recommend the whole experience.
