Summer is for Gin and Tonics, Faded Nantucket Reds, Ray Bans and all things preppy. I am getting wistful for my days at boarding school. Here are some fun ideas to add some preppy touches to your summer gathering.
A chic and well stocked bar - note the preppy ribbon
Or a BLUE SEERSUCKER ice bucket
Classic Grosgrain Napkin Rings - go HERE for the "how tos"
If you aren't feeling crafty, you can buy a set from SOCIAL COUTURE
Preppy placemats from MATTIE LUXE
A MADRAS tablecloth lined with Seersucker
A nautical centerpiece and go HERE for the details
I love this table setting from OH HAPPY DAY - it would be easy to do and so affordable
These BRACELETS would be perfect party favors from Kiel James Patrick
Monogram cookies from ETSY
Ocean Inspired Cookies from ELENI'S which will make you think of summers on the Cape
Preppy Cupcake KIT from Meri Meri
LOVE this post....so many beautiful and great ideas. I actually helped plan a graduation party for my friends good son graduating from high school (he is a huge prep) and we took bracelets very simliar to those you showed above and we used them as napkin rings which doubled as the favor....they were great looking! Bookmarking this post so I can come back to it.....
ReplyDeletesuch charming ideas! I really love the bracelets, and the table setting from OH HAPPY DAY... You could do that easy table setting with a variety of colors! Color is a wonderful and often inexpensive way of entertaining beautifully, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI love anything Preppy!!! What a fun party. I did the napkin holders for my Easter table in bright green and white striped with a bright yellow zig-zag runner. It was so easy to do and now I have them to use whenever I want!! Kathysue
