Downton Abbey Fun

Over the weekend we were all expressing our excitement over the return of Downton Abbey. I wanted to share this post I did last year.

Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey) is open to the public and can be hired for private events and weddings.

But in case you can't make it across the pond, then perhaps host your party with cocktails inspired by the sisters?

The Edith - the often overshadowed middle sister. Who is part sweet and part sour! RECIPE

The Mary - a crisp cocktail with a bit of a bite. Just like Lady Mary! RECIPE

And last, but certainly not least, (and my favorite sister) The Sybil. This sweet sophisticated cocktail is just like the youngest Crawley. RECIPE

Cheers!

Did you get caught up in Downton Abbey fever? I certainly did and enjoyed every episode in Seasons One and Two. Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey) is open to the public and can be hired for private events and weddings.
