Party Details: Elegant Holiday Dinner on a Budget

I am ready for the holidays and wanted to make dinner with friends feel like a special occasion. Here are flowers I did myself. The entire arrangement was made from flowers I found at a local grocery store and cost $34.

Don't be afraid to mix textures and floral oasis or a floral frog is the key. Wouldn't this arrangement look nice on a Thanksgiving table?

I wanted to replicate a few fun details that I saw on the table EDDIE ROSS did for Lonny. I found these gourds at a local floral wholesale shop in Boston and someone gave me a bunch of these pheasants after one of our events.

Some gold spray paint and volia!

The dishes, silver and glasses I had in my cabinets. The beautiful chocolate brown silk tablecloth was from a bolt of fabric I found at a tag sale. (You may remember the dinner table Elizabeth posted on her blog Pretty Pink Tulips using the exact same plates- I knew I liked her style!)

The end result.
