Basil Bliss



On my deck in Boston is a large pot of basil that I use through out the summer. (Dixie's home in Connecticut has a large herb garden - including basil - right outside her kitchen door which is so perfect for cooking.) I am always looking for recipes to incorporate this delicious, summery herb in my menu.



This is my favorite recipe for PESTO.



CHICKEN BURGERS WITH BASIL MAYO sounds delish and I will be trying this before August ends!



How clever is this twist on a classic! TOMATOES STUFFED WITH MOZZARELLA AND BASIL - love, love, love the presentation.



FOUR CHEESE PIZZA WITH BASIL AND GARLIC would be great with a salad for dinner or cut up in small slices as an appetizer. Yum!

  2. I am stuck on basil. The flavor it brings to almost any dish is so refreshing. Love a homemade pesto - my friend Chris taught me how to whip one up in my kitchen -- a transforming experience!
