Fall Dinner Party

A warm welcome to Ridgely of RIDGELY'S RADAR who is doing a guest post today on a fabulous fall fete that she and her husband host every October.

While her dining room can seat twenty people comfortably, Ridgely likes a more intimate evening and aims for a group of ten people. The dining room is dark purple which sets the color scheme for the evening paired with orange for some pop.

An online invite from COCODOT

Music sets the mood for any party. To create the perfect playlist for her fall party, Ridgely got in touch with her friend Lara, who is a music guru to put together a list of party tunes.  (Be sure to check out Lara's blog BEAT THE TRACK.)

Click HERE for the play list.

For cocktails, individual bags of a pumpkin seeds RECIPE

And Spicy Goat Cheese with Endive RECIPE

The table setting would tie in to the invitation. And be sure to use place cards so that the group gets mixed up and couples sit next to someone other than their spouse.

For the main course Pork Roast with Apples and Figs RECIPE

Paired with Roasted Potatoes RECIPE

And classic Green Beans RECIPE

With the crisp days of fall, dessert should be warm comfort food. Try 'Ohana's Bread Pudding which is bread pudding with a Bananas Foster Sauce - yum! RECIPE

Thanks Ridgely and what time shall we be there?
