Boston Holiday House Tour
One of my favorite things to do is take time out to be a tourist in your own city. I grabbed one of my close friends here in Boston and we strolled through historic Beacon Hill. Welcoming guests to your home should start with your front entrance and I love how these homes are decorated for the holidays. How fantastic is the magnolia wreath pictured above with the contrast of green and brown? Love.
The pineapple which symbolizes welcome.
Can't go wrong with the classic look of boxwood which is what I use on my mantle.
A few other favorites we found
We even found a vintage Santa. Merry! Merry!

You know how much we love decorating our front doors - these pretty pictures will serve as inspiration for next year! Love the ones with garlands and bows...

All so tasteful and elegant - just how I would envision Beacon Hill at Christmas. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Holiday!!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to walk through Beacon Hill. I love having my own "up close" tour! I think that first door is my favorite!! Next year, I'm doing more color!!!
