If I had to pick a favorite spot out of all the places I been around the globe, it would be Italy. And if I had to pick one spot in Italy, it would be Tuscany. If you have never been, you need to go at least once! If you want to experience Tuscany at home, then pick up a copy of a book from Frances Mayes.
Of course, most people know her famous book, UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN, but two of my other favorites are IN TUSCANY

Italy is high on my list of places I'd like to see!

This post makes me want to hop on a plane like right this very minute, throw my coat out the window....grab my sunhat, and go live in a Tuscan villa for the next month! Who doesnt' dream of living under the Tuscan sun for a month or two or three...or even more? Its a dream. Beauitful post and inspiration..thanks for the visual getaway.. I needed that before my crazy day that I have ahead of me!
ReplyDeleteMy aunt lives in an 11th century villa in the hills above Florence and even makes her own olive oil! Can't wait to bring my family there for a visit - one of my favorite places in the world, too.

So apt, as today is the first time I've seen the sun in a while! Wouldn't I love to be in Tuscany today!!!
