Party Details: Palm Beach Chic

With the winter from hell coming to an end here in Boston, I wanted to set my table with some spring cheer. I had a few fun, fab gal pals for dinner and thought a Palm Beach inspired theme would be perfect.

The fabric I found ages ago at a great price at CALICO CORNERS.

I wanted to incorporate some modern touches so the toile didn't feel old school stuffy. So I added a pair of lime green foo dogs from my living room mantle. Shop your home for fun objects to add to your table!

I used stamps and paper stock I had in my closet and embossed my own place cards. I used a lower case initial for each guest. All the items came from PAPER SOURCE.

The flowers I did myself with fleurs from a local market. I mixed two shades of pink roses. green berries and lime green hydrangeas.

The finished table.

What do you think??

  2. Kate - you can do my flowers any time!! I always love what you do! Your table is an inspiration for spring - I was so disappointed when I went out this morning and saw the frost on the cars - freezing!! Can't wait for Florida Sunday!!
